Videolaryngoscopes

Videolaryngoscopes are modern medical devices used for endotracheal intubation and assessment of the upper airways. Unlike conventional laryngoscopes, they are equipped with a miniature camera placed at the tip of the blade, which transmits an image of the larynx to a built-in or external screen. As a result, the person performing the procedure does not have to look directly into the patient's airways, but instead observes a clear, magnified image on the monitor.
